What did you learn in school today, Dear little boy of mine?
What did you learn in school today, Dear little boy of mine?
I learned that Washington never told a lie. Aprendí que Washington nunca dijo mentiras
I learned that soldiers seldom die. Aprendí que los soldados raramente mueren.
I learned that everybody's free, Aprendí que todo el mundo es libre,
And that's what the teacher said to me. y eso es lo que me dijo la profesora.
That's what I learned in school today, That's what I learned in school.
What did you learn in school today,Dear little boy of mine?
What did you learn in school today,Dear little boy of mine?
I learned that policemen are my friends. Aprendí que los policías son mis amigos.
I learned that justice never ends. Aprendí que la justicia no tiene fin.
I learned that murderers die for their crimes Aprendí que los asesinos mueren por sus crímenes
Even if we make a mistake sometimes. incluso si cometemos algún error a veces.
That's what I learned in school today, That's what I learned in school.
What did you learn in school today,Dear little boy of mine?
What did you learn in school today,Dear little boy of mine?
I learned that Government must be strong; Aprendí que el Gobierno debe ser severo;
It's always right and never wrong; Siempre tiene razón, nunca está equivocado;
Our leaders are the finest men Nuestros líderes son los mejores hombres
And we elect them again and again. Y los elegimos una y otra vez.
That's what I learned in school today, That's what I learned in school.
What did you learn in school today, Dear little boy of mine?
What did you learn in school today, Dear little boy of mine?
I learned that war is not so bad; Aprendí que la guerra no es tan mala;
I learned about the great ones we have had; Aprendí sobre las Grandes guerras que hemos tenido;
We fought in Germany and in France Luchamos en Alemania y en Francia
And someday I might get my chance. Y algún día llegará mi oportunidad.
That's what I learned in school today, That's what I learned in school.

Me alegra ver que por fin hay segovianas que se interesan por su ciudad. Ha sido un placer leer tu blog y ver las cosas tan bonitas que dices sobre la ciudad. sigue así, procuraré echarle un ojo de vez en cuando.
Soy otro segoviano estudiando turismo.
Escalofriante...menudo lavado de cerebro :S (y mira que el ppio si me gustó, con eso de que "los policías son tus amigos" :P)
